1. What this policy covers
PDFly is free to download, and reading PDFs is free. The only thing you can buy is the editor pass, which unlocks saving marked-up copies, extracting and organising pages, merging PDFs and signatures for one year (see our Terms of Service). This policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for it.
2. Try before you buy
Every editing tool can be used for free before you buy: you can mark up any PDF and see the result inside PDFly. The pass is needed only to keep the result as a new PDF, and for page organising and signatures. Please try the editor on your own documents before buying.
3. Nothing to cancel
The editor pass is a single payment for one year. It does not renew automatically, so you will never be charged again unless you choose to buy another pass. There is no subscription to cancel. Buying a pass before your current one ends adds a year to it.
4. Refunds through Google Play
All payments are processed by Google Play, so refunds are issued through Google Play to your original payment method.
- Directly from Google: shortly after a purchase, you can request a refund from Google Play yourself, without contacting us. Google decides these requests under the Google Play refund policy.
- From us, within 7 days: if the editor pass does not work as described — for example, it was charged but the editor did not unlock, or a paid feature does not work on your phone and we cannot fix it — write to pdfly@ctoryteller.com within 7 days of purchase with your Google Play order number (it begins with "GPA."). We will look into it and, where the problem is ours, refund you in full through Google Play.
- Duplicate charges — being charged twice for the same pass — are refunded if reported within 7 days.
- No refunds for a change of mind. Because the reader is free and every editing tool can be tried before you buy, we do not refund a pass that works as described, except where the law requires us to.
When a pass is refunded, Google Play withdraws it and the paid features lock again. Copies you have already saved are your files and are not affected.
5. Problems with a purchase
If you were charged but the editor did not unlock, first tap "I already bought it" in PDFly while connected to the internet, signed in with the Google account that paid. If it still does not unlock, contact us with your order number.
A payment that Google Play shows as pending has not completed yet; the editor unlocks when it goes through.
